When COVID-19 began to spread throughout Australia in 2020, a group of Esperance locals stood up to do their part protecting the community by encouraging local people to heed warnings and stay safe.
What was initially a discussion between friends - Megan McDowall, Lara McIntyre and Dr Robyn McIntyre - became reality with the support of numerous other locals and the production of a four-part video series, "Esperance, We Need To Talk".
After a first very successful video was produced and released, Mt Burdett Foundation was able to contribute funds to extend the production of the video series.
